• Cleaning Solution: Prepare a mild solution of warm water and dish soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the feeder.
• Disassemble and Clean: Following the user manual’s instructions, disassemble the feeder components like the seed tray, lid, and any removable parts. This allows for thorough cleaning of all areas.
• Brush and Rinse: Use a soft brush to gently remove any debris, dirt, or stuck-on seed stuck in the nooks and crannies. Rinse all components thoroughly with clean water to remove soap residue.
• Dry Completely: Allow all parts of the feeder to air dry completely before reassembling. Moisture can lead to mold growth, so ensure everything is dry before refilling with birdseed.
